Who is behind this guide?

Hey there! My name is Chris, and I'm the mind behind this crypto guide. My journey into the crypto world started back in 2017 when I bought my first Bitcoin – so I've been "in the game" for a while and have seen all the ups and downs.

My journey into the NFT world then began in 2020. I've minted projects myself (meaning I was one of the first to create them) and paid my dues – I've burned several ETH (Ethereum) in "gas wars" just to get a coveted piece. Many NFTs in my collection have gone to zero, and that's part of the honest story.

At the same time, I also hold works by digital pioneers like Pak and established artists like Damien Hirst. But my great passion is PFPs (Profile Pictures) – these are NFT collections like the famous apes that serve as a digital status symbol and an entry ticket to exclusive communities. I am a proud owner of a Doodle and a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, which I have no intention of selling.

That's why I created this guide. I want to show you an honest, down-to-earth, and above all, stress-free path into the crypto world. A path for people like us who believe in the future but aren't interested in gambling.
